LAST MONTH'S WINERY
Indigenous World Winery

Indigenous World Winery merges modern culture with Indigenous history. The Indigenous first peoples of the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys located in British Columbia Canada are the Okanagan Syilx people. They have lived on and protected these lands for thousands of years. Robert Louie and his wife Bernice are descendants of the Syilx people and are connected to the land and its rich history.

We look forward to sharing information about Indigenous World Winery throughout the month of February on our social media pages!

And now we present our January featured wines...
2020 Hee-Hee-Tel-Kin White Blend

This vintage of Hee-Hee-Tel-Kin is a blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer. The nose is floral with hints of cantaloupe and honey, with an elegant balance of orange blossom, crab apple and peach on the palate. We think this wine pairs well with just about everything!
2017 Single Vineyard Merlot

Grown at Monarch Vineyard down in Osoyoos this vintage if Merlot was aged for 30 months in new American Oak (40%) and former "Simo" barrels (60%). A dry and savoury wine that has a leathery nose of blackberries and black cherries, with a ruggedly rich, earthy and spicy black plum palate. An earthy beautiful Merlot!
2020 Ho-We-Nam Ho-We-Nem

This vintage of our Ho-We-Nam Ho-We-Nem is a Charmat method sparkling wine made vinified from a blend of Pinot Blanc and our estate grown Muscat. A combination of bright tropical fruits and white grapefruit aromatics lead on the nose, and carry through to the palate where they are complimented by notes of honeydew and gala apples. A perfect sparkling wine for any occasion!
